Course Description: Inspired by the beauty and diversity of nature, this hands-on workshop invites participants to explore clay, creativity, and personal artistic expression while creating their own unique ceramic floral tile. Drawing inspiration from the shapes, textures, patterns, and forms found in the natural world, participants will use handbuilding and surface decoration techniques to design and sculpt a one-of-a-kind floral artwork. No previous pottery experience is required, just bring your imagination and a willingness to get your hands a little messy! Participants will shape, sculpt, and add details to their clay tiles, allowing their individual ideas and creativity to bloom. Whether you are new to clay or an experienced maker, this joyful and creative workshop is a wonderful opportunity to connect with nature, experiment with clay, and create a lasting handmade artwork inspired by your own imagination. This workshop is perfect for complete beginners, aged 15 and up. Pro Tips for Success: ✨ Avoid wearing jewelry or having long nails—they can get in the way ✨ Bring an apron or an old t-shirt and a towel Pick-Up Information: Your pieces will typically be fired during the course.
