Learn various functional and sculptural techniques that will allow you to express your creativity and develop your skills. Our expert instructor will guide you through every step of the way. Perfect for teens who want to explore their artistic side in a safe environment to express themselves and have fun while learning about clay. This is also a great opportunity to meet new people who share a passion for art. This course includes everything you need to create your pieces. Instruction, equipment, clay, tools, firing and glazing. Who is this class for? Teens. 12 Years to 18 Years. How long is the workshop? 2 Hours with clean up included. What do I make? In this class, participants will create both functional and non-functional pieces, including using the potters wheel, such as personalized mugs, candle holders, decorative tiles, animal sculptures, masks, and more. Is it your first time? We love to share our love of clay with you and everything we've learned through years of playing with clay. This course is a great introduction to pottery. Hot Tips Jewellery and longer nails might get in the way. Bring an apron or an old tshirt. Bring your inspiration. Pick Up Course works, pieces are usually fired during the course and can be collected during your sessions, or a week after the course has finished. We email everyone when the pieces are ready for pick up. We fire according to size and best fit in the kiln.
