Course Description

Date: February 7, 2025 Time: 1pm - 3:00 pm Instructor: Lauren Sinett Join us at Beyond Pottery for a fun and creative Valentine's Day Hand building Workshop. Perfect for beginners, you'll have the opportunity to make a handmade valentine inspired dish that you can keep for yourself or give as a thoughtful gift to someone special. Bring a friend or loved one and enjoy quality time together while exploring your creativity. Don't miss out on this unique and memorable experience. This course includes everything you need to create your pieces. Instruction, equipment, clay, tools, glaze, and firing. Who is this Workshop for? Complete beginners. This workshop is intended for adults 18+. Younger? Reach out to us to ask about teen and children’s workshops. Is it your first time? We love to share our love of clay with you and everything we've learned through years of playing with clay. This course is a great introduction to pottery. Hot Tips Jewelry might get in the way. Bring an apron or an old T-shirt Bring your inspiration. How long is the workshop? 2 Hours with clean up included. Pick up For workshops: We first bisque fire your pieces after a week or so once it’s dried completely, then we glaze and refire. Pieces usually take 2-3 weeks to become ceramic! We email everyone when the pieces are ready for pick up. Cancellation Policy Cancellations must be made in writing by email to info@beyondpottery.ca Cancellations will be subject to the following: -Cancellations within 14 days of the start date will be charged the full course fee. -Cancellations within 15-28 days of the start date will be charged 50% of the course fee. -If the participant fails to attend the course the full course fees are payable. Terms and Conditions -Courses are for Adults 18+ unless otherwise stated -All courses are non-refundable -We require at least two week advance notice to reschedule a course, regardless of the date of booking. -There are no partial refunds for missed classes.
