Time: 10:00 am - 12 pm Instructor: Yvette Discover the Art of Wheel Throwing: A Beginner’s Course Looking to try something new or develop a creative hobby? Join our 6-week beginner course and learn the fundamentals of pottery on the wheel. With hands-on guidance from our experienced instructor, you'll explore techniques like centering, shaping, trimming, and glazing—turning raw clay into beautiful creations. What’s Included: Expert instruction All necessary equipment and tools Clay, firing, and glazing Who Can Join? This workshop is perfect for complete beginners, aged 18 and up. For younger participants, reach out to inquire about teen and children’s courses. Course Details: Duration: 2 hours per session, 6 week course. What You’ll Create: At the start, the instructor will outline the planned projects for the course. Projects may evolve based on the group’s interests and progress. First-Time Potters Welcome! We’re excited to share our passion for clay with you. This course offers the perfect introduction to pottery, with plenty of support along the way. Pro Tips for Success: Avoid wearing jewelry or having long nails—they can get in the way Bring an apron or an old t-shirt Come inspired and ready to create! Pick-Up Information: Your pieces will typically be fired during the course. You can collect finished works during sessions or after the course ends. We'll notify you by email when everything is ready.
