Halloween Pottery Workshop

Course Description

Get into the halloween spirit with our spook-tacular Halloween Pottery Workshop!! Get creative with clay and make your own Halloween-inspired pieces, perfect for decorating your home or adding a little spooky fun to your fall! Participants will be able to choose from Halloween inspired templates from cute pumpkin faces to creepy Halloween creatures to customize their piece! Students can decorate with colored slips -or- participants can chose a glaze for their piece to be dipped in. We provide all tools and materials needed; just bring your creativity and Halloween spirit! Workshop Details: 🗓️ Date: October 18 2026 ⏰ Time: 2pm-4pm 📍 Location: Beyond Pottery, Burlington, ON 👩‍🏫 Instructor: Lauren Sinett 👥 Suitable for: Adults and teens (12+). Beginners are welcome, no prior clay experience required. 🎨 Includes: Clay, tools, glazes, and kiln firings What You’ll Learn: - How to handbuild a functional cylinder form . - Techniques on piercing or carving out imagery like pumpkin faces, bats, ghosts, cats, or your own creative designs. Pro Tips for Success: ✨ Wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little messy (or bring an apron) ✨ Plan ahead—think of patterns you’d love to see glowing on your lantern Pick-Up Information: Your pieces will take 3-4 weeks to be processed . We’ll notify you by email when your pieces are ready for pick up.
