Ceramic Transfer Paper – Decorating Made Easy

Using underglaze transfers is a great way to add intricate designs and patterns to your pottery projects and can add a professional and detailed touch to your pottery.

Why Choose transfers?

  • Easy Application: Achieve instant decorating effects on flat or curved surfaces with minimal effort. Simply dampen the back of the paper with a damp sponge, place and press it print-side down on your piece, wait a few minutes, and peel off to reveal the intricate pattern.

  • Versatile and High-Quality: Made in Japan, these transfers boast high strength and excellent adherence to raw clay, leather hard, and bisque. They can be applied over painted or unpainted surfaces and finished with clear or transparent glazes. Suitable for firing at a broad range of temperatures from Cone 05-10.

  • Experiment with layering different designs for a more complex look.
  • Use a light hand when smoothing out the transfer to avoid tearing the paper.
