Our Studio Membership is for experienced potters who love getting their hands in clay and working at their own pace. If you’re comfortable creating independently, this is your space to settle in, experiment, and keep growing your skills.
You’ll have access to the tools, materials, equipment and a welcoming studio community that supports your creative journey.
whats included

Personal storage: half-shelf for storing clay, tools, and works in progress.

Equipment/Tools: (13) Pottery wheels, (2) slab rollers, and all the pottery tool essentials!

Materials: 13 studio dipping glazes, 12 coloured slips, and oxide stains.

Firings: Bisque and glaze firings cone 5/6 are included in membership fee.

Clay: We carry a wide variety of cone 6 clays from both PSH and Tuckers'. {Members are required to purchase clay from us through our online shop}.

Access to special events: Membership Appreciation Day, potlucks, and holiday market sales!

Work in Progress shelving throughout the studio.

Ability to special request materials in studio orders.

Ability to sell work on consignment in our retail space.

Members are welcome to bring in their own commercial cone 6 glazes and underglazes.

Monthly fee: $194 + HST
Discounts for longer commitments:
3 months — 2% discount
6 months — 4% discount
1 year — 7% discount
Seniors receive a further 7% discount on their membership fee.

Studio Access & Hours
Monday to Sunday
7 AM – 10 PM
Members' Studio:
Members can access this space during our hours of operation regardless of when our courses are taking place! This studio includes 5 pottery wheels, three work rooms each with their own work tables, a slab roller, work sink, and kitchen with a fridge, kettle and coffee machine.
Teaching Studio access:
Outside of course times, members can access our teaching studio which has 8 pottery wheels, work sinks, three worktables and a mini slab roller.

Who can become a member?

Members must be 18 years or older and have completed at least two pottery courses.

Should feel confident working with clay, glazes, studio tools, and equipment.

Understand Wheel Throwing and clay-building techniques sufficiently enough to work independently.

Follow proper studio safety and cleaning procedures to work safely and independently in the studio.
