Course Description

Get your hands dirty and bring some greenery into your space! In this fun and beginner-friendly workshop, you'll learn to handbuild your very own mini planter — perfect for succulents, herbs, or small blooms. We’ll guide you through shaping, texturing, and decorating your planter, with lots of room for creativity. Whether you're making a piece for your windowsill or a gift for a plant-loving friend, this workshop is the perfect way to spend a creative summer evening. All materials and firing included — just bring your ideas and your love for plants! Workshop Details: 🗓️ Date: July 12 ⏰ Time: 2pm - 4pm 📍 Location: Beyond Pottery, Burlington, ON 👩‍🏫 Instructor: Yvette Garcia-Mier 👥 Suitable for: Complete Beginners 🎨 Includes: Clay, tools, glazes, and kiln firings Hot Tips for a Great Session: Avoid wearing jewelry and long nails—they can get in the way Bring an apron or old t-shirt and a towel. Pick-Up Information: Your pieces will typically be fired during the course. Finished works can be collected during sessions or 3-4 weeks after the course ends. We’ll notify you by email when your creations are ready for pick-up.
