Course Description
Join ceramic artist Eiko Maeda and discover the beautiful Japanese technique of Nerikomi. This unique process involves creating intricate patterns within the clay body itself, rather than decorating only the surface. By layering different coloured clays together, beautiful patterns and designs run throughout the piece, creating a striking effect. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to create your own patterned clay slabs and transform them into unique ceramic pieces. All materials, tools, refreshments, and a light lunch are included. We’ll notify you by email when your creations are ready for pick-up.
