Course Description
Workshop Description Celebrate the holiday season with our Ornament Pottery Workshop! This special family-friendly session invites parents and children to come together to design and craft a collection of festive, handcrafted ornaments perfect for bonding, creativity, and holiday fun. Each booking (one adult and one child age+5) includes the opportunity to create up to 8 unique ornaments. You’ll be guided through the handbuilding process and use festive cutters, templates, and decorating techniques to capture the spirit of the season. All tools and materials are provided—just bring your inspiration and enthusiasm! Workshop Details 🗓️ Date: Saturday, December 6, 2025 ⏰ Time: 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM (1.5 hrs) 📍 Location: Beyond Pottery, Burlington, ON 👩🏫 Instructor: Shahrzad Amin 👥 Suitable for: One adult + one child per booking. Beginners welcome, no prior clay experience required. 🎨 Includes: Clay, tools, festive cutters, templates, glazes, and kiln firings What You’ll Learn How to handbuild festive ornaments with clay Techniques for shaping, texturing, and decorating holiday designs Glazing methods to add color and shine to your finished pieces Additional Notes Please bring an apron or old t-shirt for working with clay Ornaments take approximately 3–4 weeks to process (drying, bisque firing, glazing, and re-firing). Participants will be notified by email when pieces are ready for pickup. Cancellation Policy All cancellations must be submitted by email to info@beyondpottery.ca Cancellations within 14 days of the workshop start date: charged the full fee Cancellations within 15–28 days of the start date: charged 50% of the fee Failure to attend the workshop: full fee is payable Terms & Conditions Workshops are for adults and children (as specified) unless otherwise noted All courses are non-refundable Two weeks’ notice is required to reschedule a course, regardless of booking date No partial refunds for missed sessions
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made in writing by email to info@beyondpottery.ca Cancellations will be subject to the following: -Cancellations within 14 days of the start date will be charged the full course fee. -Cancellations within 15-28 days of the start date will be charged 50% of the course fee. -If the participant fails to attend the course the full course fees are payable. Terms and Conditions -Courses are for Adults 16+ unless otherwise stated -All courses are non-refundable -We require at least two week advance notice to reschedule a course, regardless of the date of booking. -There are no partial refunds for missed classes.
