Beyond Pottery studio Membership
Join us and gain a friendly creative community you didn't know you needed!

 

​​Our Studio Membership gives experienced potters the space, equipment, and materials they need to practice their art independently. Designed for those who already feel comfortable working with clay, our membership offers a supportive environment to experiment and refine techniques to develop your work!

whats included
  • Personal storage: half-shelf for storing clay, tools, and works in progress.

  • Equipment/Tools: (13) Pottery wheels, (2) slab rollers, and all the pottery tool essentials!

  • Materials: 13 studio glazes, 12 coloured slips, and oxide stains.

  • Firings: Bisque and glaze firings cone 5/6 are included in membership fee.

  • Clay: We carry a wide variety of cone 6 clays from both PSH and Tuckers'. {Members are required to purchase clay from us through our online shop}

  • Access to special events: Membership Appreciation Day, potlucks, and holiday market sales!

 Members are welcome to bring in their own commercial cone 6 glazes.

Our membership offers flexible plans to suit your creative routine.
  • Monthly fee: $194 + HST

  • 3 months — 2% discount

  • 6 months — 4% discount

  • 1 year — 7% discount

Seniors receive a 7% discount on their monthly membership fee.

Studio Access & Hours

Monday to Friday: 9 AM – 9 PM

Saturday: 9 AM – 5 PM

 

Members' Studio: 

Members can always access this space during our hours of operation regardless of when our courses are taking place! This studio includes 5 pottery wheels, three work rooms each with their own work tables, a slab roller, work sink, and kitchen.

Teaching Studio access: 

Outside of course times, members can access our teaching studio which has 8 additional pottery wheels, industrial sinks, three worktables, mini slab roller and kitchen. 

 

Who can become a member:

  • Members must be 18 years or older and have completed at least two pottery courses. 

  • Should feel confident working with clay, glazes, studio tools, and equipment.

  • Understand Wheel Throwing and clay-building techniques sufficiently enough to work independantly

  • Follow proper studio safety and cleaning procedures to work safely and independently in the studio.
